Created by Phil's K9 Rattlesnake Aversion Classes to provide an up close view of the private lives of 5 California species of rattlesnakes. Observation teaches us that these are not the creatures which society has demonized. They are highly misunderstood and in fact some of the most gentle, affectionate, unique, evolved, fascinating, exciting, intelligent and "usually" mellow reptiles on the face of the earth. 5 snakes are used for K9 Rattlesnake aversion classes in Joshua Tree California USA. Since these snakes have lived in this 300 square foot, climate controlled environment for the past decade they have adapted this as their permanent home and can never be released. The interior is reinforced with rattlesnake fencing, including the ceiling. a hibernation den, in the Northwest corner is where they head, most evenings.
